Today, at Prime Minister's Questions, I asked Theresa May why she is ignoring experts; professionals; those in local government -- including her own council leaders; and the current and former chairs of the Health Select Committee, when they tell her our social care system simply isn't working:

Inadequate funding for social care forces people to give up work to care for loved ones, it keeps people in hospital longer than necessary and it pushes people further and further into isolation.

Labour cares for our NHS. Theresa May and her Government must give the NHS and social care the funding it so desperately needs.
