Labour speaks for Stourport on Blue Light Hub

There are six Conservative councillors on Stourport Town Council.  When the council convened specially to consider the Fire Services “Blue Light Hub” proposals, three of them attended, but two left before a vote was taken.  There are three Labour councillors on Stourport Town Council.  All three attended; all three voted.
The councillors who stayed long enough to vote accepted the majority of the points proposed by Labour; no new points were tabled.  The primary reservation expressed was about increased response times, with particular reference to the second appliance’s belated arrival.
On this crucial issue of public safety, Labour speaks for Stourport.
