A true Kidderminster man, Mike was born and bred in Kidderminster and has a wealth of experience serving on the local Council. He was first elected to Kidderminster Borough Council in 1970. Kidderminster borough was disbanded in 1973 and Mike was then elected to Wyre Forest District Council.

In 1992/93 Mike was honoured to be selected to be the Mayor of Kidderminster, one of the most memorable experiences of his life.

Mike is very proud to be called a Kidderminster man, and has fought over many years for the re-establishment of a Town Council for Kidderminster.

Mike says “These are very exciting times. It is essential that the new Town Council gets off to a meaningful and sensible start for the sake of all Kidderminster people”.
