Sarah Rook

Councillor Sarah Rook

I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent Broadwaters as your Town Councillor. I have lived on Sion Hill for all of my life, and I love the community. I believe that it has the best community spirit in Wyre Forest. I have a proven track record of standing up for our community and I have immersed myself in numerous campaigns to make sure that our area isn't sold short. This has meant I have instigated action to ensure our school bus route has been saved when it was under threat, in order to protect our children's safe route to school, and have argued strongly that the former Sion Hill School site should be used for much needed housing. I am also involved in a number of voluntary projects, working to improve the lives of all residents.

The Labour Party wants to be rooted in the local community and that’s why I have got involved. I want to protect and build on the services for Broadwaters and the wider community. I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to help make our area a great place to live.

Kidderminster needs a strong voice that will address the many challenges it faces. I want to be a part of a team that listens and delivers what people want.

Thank you voting for me and the Labour party.
