We’ve seen the Tory manifesto dementia tax policy fall apart already under scrutiny from Labour.

It sums up the Tory manifesto, it’s light on detail, has no proper costings, and has been thrown together in undue haste to hold an election.

The country deserves better from someone who aspires to be Prime Minister and lead this country through some difficult waters. It’s an indictment of Theresa May and her authoritarian style.

This is her manifesto, it has her stamp all over it, and it shows she’s unable to deal with any challenge without u-turning because she doesn’t think things through properly and can’t be trusted to run the country let alone Brexit negotiations.

Does she actually know her own mind? What does she actually stand for? What will voters get if she is actually elected?

The dementia tax fiasco taken back to back with her collapse on the budget national insurance rises, failed promise on not holding a general election, her immigration target failings when Home Secretary, proves that Theresa May has no idea what ‘strong and stable leadership’ is.

Conversely, the Labour Manifesto is about policy not personalities, is properly costed and thoughtful in approach adequately highlighting why Labour is the only Party with a vision to take this country forward for the many not the few.
