The following information was kindly passed on to Councillor Jamie Shaw by the Clerk to Astley and Dunley Parish Council.
 
Gladman Developments, the company associated with the recent failed application for stables “off Areley Common”, has stated that it is considering a planning application for Outline permission to build approximately 150 houses. The proposed site abuts Marlborough Drive, Hillside Close, Summercroft, and parts of Redstone Lane and Areley Common. As with the stables application, the site, although not as large, falls into two administrative areas, the districts of Wyre Forest and Malvern Hills.  Therefore, planning applications will have to be made to both councils.
