In the press of late, our Tory MP, Mark Garnier, has been highlighting the significance of 2 things:

1. The impending West Midland Combined Authority and the economic opportunities it brings us in Wyre Forest.
2. The Government’s claim that it is pumping £10 billion extra into the NHS.

Post Brexit, and because investment is crucial, let’s examine these 2 claims because he’s been very keen on raising them with constituents in order to show the Tories are listening and learning post-Brexit. Not least, because in place like Wyre Forest, the largest leave votes in the EU referendum were in constituencies like ours, where his Party’s austerity measures have hit our public services, the poorest, most vulnerable, and the lowest paid, the hardest – something that has nothing to do with the EU but which seems conveniently ignored by politicians on the right despite all the rhetoric around in June during the referendum.
