We are as a national family or we are nothing. We stand alone within the Political system because of our moral principles and our ideas, ideals and our imagination. That when all in our society are equal we succeed.

 As a society we have to fight to protect those who are the weakest. This country needs the Labour Party our mission is to convince the electorate that we have and are a credible alternative to Tory or ‘Tory light’ policies. Our ambitions should be to engage and convince the family that is the United Kingdom on all levels that our path can bring unity and prosperity in the UK. This time Labour’s message didn’t attract the voters we hoped it would. So now we get up and start again.

Labour has to offer a hope for those who haven’t any and a reason to vote for those who didn’t by being all inclusive. Anyone denying this is a fool. The Tory class war is going on out there whether you like it or not and more and more people are feeling it’s effects. In 1992 Tony Benn said ‘it’s about whether our society puts people in a place of dignity and serves them or whether you just hand over your money to gamblers who don’t create any real wealth’ and in 1994 the Low pay unit said ‘…transferring people from the ranks of the unemployed poor to the working poor is short-sighted.’ We haven’t moved far in the last twenty years! We change this country by accepting the UK as a family and If some do not like that and want to leave we should ask them to surrender their passports when they go.

I feel as we go forward we have to stop being afraid and watering down our policies, just in case we upset the press. The party needs to show a credible challenge to the Tories and a belief that runs through the Party that we can succeed, with this we need to show we have a credible challenge to Tory policies and make a determined case on Labour Party views and not an insipid week version of Tory policies.

Over and over we must make a constant case that destroys the lie that Labour was the cause of the economic crash and Tory claims that we are controlled by Union paymasters. Through technology we have the chance to engage all in debate and encourage members to extend the debate by continuing to post and repost to their followers and friends, this debate should allow anyone to come back to and get answers from the Party. Labour has to bring honesty, integrity and morality back to the centre stage of all public, private businesses.

This Party with one united ideal that together we become a movement to enhance the community that is our Nation.
