Labour councils are building 50% more houses than their Conservative counterparts, new research reveals.

The Local Govt story that Labour Councils build more homes in the midst of a national housing crisis is of no surprise to us. Even in Wyre Forest we’ve been arguing strongly for more housing, especially affordable housing. Yet the Tories ignore it because they have a vested interest in keeping demand higher to artificially inflate house prices. A Labour Government pledges to build 100,000 new houses in the country every year. Only Labour can deliver on that promise as the statistics demonstrate.
