You shouldn’t have to be an expert to understand what goes on in Parliament. Your politicians represent you… but what exactly do they do in your name?

Why should I register to vote?

It’s your money the government and the council is spending. Or cutting.
It’s your youth club and your pavement and your bins.
It’s also your NHS, your school, your pension and your tuition fees.
They’re your police too.
You have views and opinions but if you don’t vote, you don’t count. It’s only a century ago that none of us had the right to vote and we don’t want to go back down that route.

You may think you are rebelling by not voting. You aren’t.
The establishment doesn’t want you to vote. The establishment likes things as they are, that’s how it got its name. It doesn’t want you at the ballot box mixing things up.
