Wyre Forest Labour Party today published its Manifesto for the upcoming District Council elections on Thursday 2nd May 2019.
Labour’s Manifesto is a bold one that champions the potential of our District by empowering our people and our communities.
It seeks to radically improve people’s lives with investment in our four (4) key targets of:
- More affordable social housing,
- better public transport in a cleaner greener environment,
- ensuring that the local economy work for all, and
- improving the cultural economy.
Our Manifesto is the result of months of work consulting with our members, supporters, and listening to the voices of our communities. It’s something of a break away from our past manifestos as we rise to the challenges the District now faces after years of austerity.
We have a brilliant team of candidates determined to make it work and renew Wyre Forest for the benefit of the many not the few.
