Wyre Forest Labour Proudly serving the people of Kidderminster, Bewdley & Stourport
WE HAVE A PLAN to keep money in the county, by giving local businesses a better chance to win council contracts.
✓ Labour will support and encourage new businesses, promote a real living wage, guaranteed working hours and trade union recognition.
✓ We will also change the County Council’s procurement policy so that new contracts are given to local companies using local people. If the County Council are spending millions of pounds on work, this money should stay within the county.
Worcestershire County Council Candidate for St Barnabas Kidderminster, Nigel Knowles says, "I believe the County Council has a vital role in supporting business start-ups, and bringing more local jobs to the Wyre Forest area."
