Local Commerce: We will encourage a green approach with local buying, local shopping, and local investment
Our Kidderminster Town Councillor candidates value local businesses and commerce. The pandemic means local businesses need more support than ever.

That’s why we’re committed to encouraging a green approach to local buying, local shopping, and local investment

Kidderminster Town Council Candidate for Blakebrook & Habberley South, Leigh Whitehouse says, "The recent success of our bid for £20.5m from the High Street Fund will make our great town a very attractive proposition to business moving forward. I will support new and existing local businesses, and wherever possible encourage a greener approach to local shopping and investment. We must do all we can to get our town thriving once more, and I will work tirelessly to inspire and support a fast recovery from the pandemic."

Kidderminster Town Council candidate for Franche & Habberley North, Nigel Knowles says, "Our town needs well paid jobs and new industry. Labour will invest in Kidderminster, increase our prosperity and create jobs for our town and local people."
