Candidate for Foley Park & Hoobrook

My name is Charlotte Ransley, Labour Candidate for Foley Park and Hoobrook. I live in Kidderminster with my husband and two young sons, and have lived in Foley Park and Hoobrook for almost two years. This past year has been dominated by COVID-19, but whilst living here, I have seen great generosity, and wonderful support and care for each other, particularly with the NHS Clap for Carers.

I have been a Labour Party member since 2017, and I am very interested in local politics. I’m very keen to be involved in regenerating the local area. I would like to support residents in any way that I can, from finding more places for young people to socialise, to ensuring that communal areas are tidy and pleasant.

I want local people to feel like they can approach me if they have any ideas, problems or issues. I believe that as a local councillor, the onus is on me to give time and listen to what people in the community need, and to help them as much as possible.

I want local people to feel like they can approach me if they have any ideas, problems or issues.
