Wyre Forest Labour
Nick Savage: Offmore & Comberton
"I pledge with Labour colleagues to works towards a locally owned public bus company and to reduce councillor allowances by 20% so that we can invest more money locally."

My name is Nick Savage, I have lived in Wyre Forest since 1984, and am the Labour candidate for Offmore and Comberton in the Wyre Forest District Council election.
I am a former commercial manager with Kidderminster Harriers, and civil servant with the Ministry of Defence.
In line with Wyre Forest Labour’s transformative Manifesto, and if elected, I pledge with Labour colleagues to works towards a locally owned public bus company and to reduce councillor allowances by 20% so that we can invest more money locally. Further, as there is a housing crisis in the District, I will play my part in working towards building more affordable social housing that is under public body control.
I believe that only Labour has the package of local policies to meet the challenges our District faces in the 21st century. Our 4 key aims to improve housing, public transport, the economy and our culture, are the right policies at the right time.
I am therefore very pleased and proud to be given the opportunity to stand for Labour on 2nd May and hope that you can lend me your support.
